I have moved around a lot (different cities and states)and I have never felt more confident and my pets more cared for than I have with Dr. George at River Road. The staff is very friendly (not phony), the nurses are thorough and when necessary, sympathetic. And I have no doubt that D. George is incredibly knowledgeable and not only has the interest of my animals at heart but most of all, understands the financial burden it can be to take good care of your pet. I NEVER feel like he is trying to "upsell" or push anything on me. I get honest but kindly-delivered truths and the decision is always left to me. I leave there knowing that I've done the right thing for my pets. Yeah the cost hurts, but trust me,I have paid much more and gotten much less from all my previous vets. Lisa M.
I've been bringing my dogs to RRVH since they first opened. The level of care that goes into each visit and each patient is amazing. My boys have been there for routine checkups and everything ranging from allergy issues to minor surgeries. On each occasion, they are professional, thorough and genuinely concerned that my pups are receiving the best quality of care. The staff have also been helpful. My schedule makes it difficult to plan things in advance, but the reception staff will be patient and call when appointments are available. After each visit, we always receive a follow up call to see how the boys are doing. If there are any questions, the staff are able to help see the issue through to my satisfaction. This is the small touch that you won't receive anywhere else. The best things I can say about RRVH is that I have confidence that my boys will receive the BEST quality and care. The peace of mind is so important when you know you're getting the best treatment for your pet. J.C.
